●中国支配？、そして合併の嵐
先日中国企業のLenovoにＰＣ事業部を売却し
17.5億ドルと実質Lenovoの株式を20%を手に入れ、Lenovoとのジョイントベンチャーを設立する見通しとなったＩＢＭが
また中国企業Great Wallとのサーバー事業の提携、ジョイントベンチャー設立を発表した
ところが同じ中国の企業としてGreat WallはLenovoと市場を争いあう関係なのだそう。
要はＩＢＭは、ＰＣ事業ではGreatWallを押し遣りLenovoで勝とうとしていて
サーバー事業はLenovoを押し遣ってGreatWallで勝とうとしているということだろうか？
この2社の関係はどうなるのか？とはいえこの2社の関係はこのままライバル関係で続きそうな状況。
いずれにしてもＩＢＭはとうとう中国に本格的な戦略を適応させてきたように思える。
それに組織を改編してきているように感じる。
合併といえばoracleがとうとうpeople softを買収したもよう。泥沼化していたが当初の買収額を大幅に上回った模様。
ＩＴ関連企業のM&Aは成功したためしがないとよく言われるけれど（ＤＥＬＬの会長も最近言ってた）
果たしてこれらの合併、買収がうまくいくのかどうか・・・
